If you’ve ever picked up a bag and thought, this is fine… but it’s not me, you’re exactly who I design for.

At The Brackish Buffalo, we don’t do plain, we don’t do forgettable and we definitely don’t do bags that blend in at the rink, the beach, or anywhere in between.

We make patterned bags with personality, the kind that feel like YOU, before you even say a word.

Let’s be honest, y'all...most bags are either boring, cute but not functional, or trendy for about five minutes then gone. 

I wanted something different! Something that made me happy when I looked at it and something that was not around yet. 

Something that could carry your life AND feel like a piece of art.

That’s where our pattern-forward designs come in. Every bag starts as a hand-drawn idea, built from real life, real chaos, and real moments! This is usually somewhere between a hockey game and a beach memory for me, so this is where I started.

For the Hockey Moms: 

I wanted the patterns I didn't already see. I wanted it to say "I'm a hockey mom" without saying, "Hockey Mom." IYKYK, friends.  I wanted femenine and soft but also bold. 

These are my first designs and I already have more in the pipeline I cannot wait to share.

For the beach bums:  

I wanted to create patterns that felt nostalgic and OBX inspired. I love the coastal grandmother vibes, the sun-faded feel and bags that could be tossed in the back of your car, as carefree as you on the way to the sunshine.  

The Brackish Buffalo exists in an in-between space.

Not fully coastal. Not fully city.
Not overly feminine. Not overly sporty. Soft, bold, and somehow still whimsical.
